The certification proposed by the Association Information Management (AIM), managed by François ACQUATELLA aims to enhance the value of management science programs that integrate a strong digital dimension into their curricula.
Lasting for four years, the certification is structured into two levels to reflect different expectations in terms of digital skills:
The certification also seeks to create a community for exchange around the integration of digital technology into management science programs, involving both academics and professionals. Several professional organizations, such as the Cercle des Femmes de la Cybersécurité (CEFCYS) and the Femmes@Numérique foundation, support the certification initiative and will participate in reviewing the applications of programs seeking certification. Additionally, an annual seminar will be organized during the AIM conference to facilitate the sharing of experiences among the leaders of certified programs.
Supported by AIM, the certification also incorporates an essential scientific dimension, focusing on aligning programs with research and promoting research work in information systems from the Francophone and international research community.
The AIM certification thus aims to ensure the quality of programs that include a significant portion of digital-related coursework, aligned with professional needs, while providing a reflective perspective on technologies and their uses through the dissemination of the latest scientific research in information systems to students.
